Tadi ke dokter lagi... semuanya perfect. Hasil test alergi minggu lalu juga bagus, katanya gue clean. Itu kayak semacam test buat deteksi virus di vagina yang intinya kalo ada bisa harm the baby. Jadi kalo sampe ada, sang ibu bakalan dikasih antibiotics.

Group B Strep Test
35-37 weeks
What it measures. Although maternal and infant infections during birth and the postpartum period are rare, they can be very serious. Group B (beta-hemolytic) streptococcus (GBS) is a bacteria that has been identified as being one of the main causes of these rare infections. This organism is normally present in the vagina or rectum in about one of every four women. In nonpregnant woman, GBS rarely causes any problems. During pregnancy and birth, however, the bacteria can possibly cause an infection in the mother's uterus or in the baby. Out of 100 women who have the bacteria, less than 1% of the infants will actually get an infection from it.
New guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that all pregnant women receive a test for GBS at 35-37 weeks. This involves swabbing the area around the opening of the vagina and the rectum to screen for the presence of the bacteria. If detected, the mother will be offered antibiotics while in labor.
What it tells you. The effectiveness of the GBS test is dependent upon both the performance of the test and on the processing at the lab. One study found that it was about 70% sensitive (positive test, bacteria present) and 90% specific (negative test, no bacteria present). However, this means that about 30% of women who have the bacteria will test negative. The latest guidelines from the CDC recommend that all pregnant women be tested for GBS and women who are positive be offered antibiotic treatment during labor.
Tadi kita dikasih "kesempatan emas" buat ngerasain kaki baby Lie... yah ampuuun.. lucu bangeeeet! Dokter bilang baby kemungkinan lahir sekitar 2.8kg sampai 3.2 kg, dia taksir kayaknya 2.9 kg, detak jantung perfect, kenaikan berat gue juga okeh (so far udah naek 12 kg nih) katanya palingan nyisa 3 kg di gue setelah baby-nya lahir, trus kalo gue breastfeeding, bakalan balik kurus ke berat gue semula cepet banget. Baby bisa nongol kapan aja... hehehe... but moga-moga nanti setelah mama dateng kesini. Mama bandel banget, malah kena flu berat dia, udah gitu tadi gue telpon, masi aja pergi-pergi melulu.
Trus pulang dari dokter gue ngobrol sama nenek-nenek di halte bus, baik banget, dia tanya baby kapan keluar, but kalo bule biasanya ga mau jawab kalo gue suruh tebak baby-nya cewek atau cowok. Beda sama chinese, tadi gue mampir ke toko cina yang jual barang-barang rumah tangga, dia bilang baby-nya udah "thien" yang gue assume artinya udah "turun" abis dari gaya tangannya yang mengarah ke bawah perut sih. Dia suruh gue siap-siap, dia bilang bisa-bisa keluar malem ini... hahahaha... trus pas gue suruh tebak gender si baby, dia liat perut gue terus dengan pede-nya dia bilang "pasti cowok". Saudaranya ga mau kalah, dari dalem ikut-ikutan keluar, satu aunty lagi yang ngeliatin perut gue dan bilang prediksi dia "gue bilang pasti cowok" hueeee... hehehe
